What is Velumhold and what does it cost?
What is Velumhold?
Velumhold is private web hosting for websites and WordPress, run by DomaineGoat LLC, a company incorporated in Panama. Each plan is a hosting account with a control panel, email accounts and databases, paid in crypto with no KYC. The steps from payment to a live site are on how we work.
How much does web hosting cost at Velumhold?
Tulle costs $2.49 a month on the yearly term, Chiffon $3.74 and Velvet $4.99. Month to month they cost $3.56, $5.35 and $7.14. The yearly term is paid at once: $29.90, $44.94 or $59.97. Every plan is on the pricing page.
Does hosting start with a setup fee or a free trial?
No setup fee is added: the price of the term you pick is what you pay, at the first order and again at each renewal. No free trial: the smallest plan, Tulle, costs $3.56 for one month, or $2.49 a month on the yearly term.
Why is Velumhold cheaper than other no-KYC crypto hosts?
Each plan is priced at least 25% under a named comparable plan from three no-KYC crypto hosts, read on 2 November 2026. Chiffon costs $3.74 a month on the yearly term, against about $5.00 at IncogNET. The table is on the pricing page.
How do the 1-, 3-, 6- and 12-month terms work?
Pay for 1 month, 3 months (10% off), 6 months (20% off) or 12 months (30% off) at a time: a longer term costs the monthly price times 3, 6 or 12, less its discount, rounded down to the cent (Chiffon: $14.44 for 3 months, $25.68 for 6 months, $44.94 for 12 months). A renewal repeats your term at the price you ordered at, unless you set a different term for the next renewal from your dashboard.
What happens when my term ends?
You prepay each hosting account from a crypto balance for a term of 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months, chosen at checkout. With auto-renew, the same term is charged again at your original price, unless you pick another term for the next renewal in the dashboard; if the balance cannot cover it, the sites stop when the term ends, the files are kept for 7 days and then deleted.
Where does my hosting account run?
Reykjavik (Iceland), Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Bucharest (Romania): every plan in every location, at the same price. Reykjavik is in the EEA, outside the European Union; Amsterdam and Bucharest are inside it. You choose at checkout. The Icelandic option is covered in Iceland web hosting.
How do payment, sign-in and refunds work?
Which coins can I pay with?
You can pay with BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. Payment is crypto only, into a prepaid balance. Each payment is shown step by step in how to pay for web hosting with Bitcoin and with USDT.
Does Velumhold accept Monero?
No. On 2 November 2026, Velumhold takes BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC; Monero (XMR) is not accepted. A Bitcoin or USDT payment sits on a public blockchain, so pay from a wallet that holds only what you need for hosting if you want to keep other funds apart from the account.
What is the minimum top-up?
The minimum top-up is $25. Your balance has no expiry date and pays for any of your hosting accounts. It is not paid back out unless the law requires it; the one exception is the unspent part of a top-up made only to reach the minimum, which returns in USDT or USDC if you ask within 30 days of payment.
Do I need an ID, a card or an email to buy hosting?
No KYC, at signup or at any later point: no ID, no selfie, no documents, no card, no phone number. Your account number alone signs you in; an email address is yours to add or to leave out. Velumhold counted 4 hosts with no ID check among the 15 shared-hosting sellers it surveyed on 2 November 2026: see web hosting without KYC.
What if I lose my account number?
Keep your account number somewhere safe: whoever holds it holds the account. With an email on file the number can be recovered; with no email, a lost number stays lost.
Can I get a refund?
If we cannot deliver a hosting account, or it goes down and support cannot bring it back, the days it was out of service return to your balance. Balances do not expire. Money on the balance is not paid back out unless the law requires it, with one exception: if part of a top-up was paid only to reach the minimum and is still unspent, ask within 30 days of payment and it comes back in USDT or USDC. Each case is in the refund policy.
Who cannot buy hosting from Velumhold?
Nobody under 18 can hold an account. We cannot serve residents or companies of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus, China, Yemen or Western Sahara, or anyone in the occupied regions of Ukraine. Each incoming payment is checked against public sanctions lists of blockchain addresses, and a payment from a listed address is never credited. The rules are in the terms of service.
How do I set up my website?
How long until my hosting account is ready?
A member of the team creates your hosting account after your payment is confirmed, within 24 hours, so delivery is not instant; follow its status in the dashboard until the control panel login appears. Setup time: 24 hours at the latest, starting once your payment is confirmed.
Can I use my own domain, and do you sell domains?
Domains are not sold here: point a domain you own to the account with two nameservers or an A record. Add the domain in the control panel and change its nameservers or A record where you bought it. The steps for a move are in how to move your website without downtime.
Can I get WordPress installed?
Yes. Pick “WordPress, installed” at checkout and the account arrives with WordPress set up on your domain; pick “Empty account” to upload your own site. More in WordPress hosting with crypto.
Can you move my existing site?
Yes. Moving an existing site in is free: send support a backup or the old host’s login and the team copies it over.
Which control panel do I get, and can I use SSH or SFTP?
You manage everything from a web control panel: files, domains, email accounts, databases, SSL and backups. Give an SSH public key at checkout for SFTP and SSH, or leave it blank; the panel login always comes with the account.
Is SSL included?
Yes. Free SSL certificates (Let’s Encrypt), issued and renewed automatically for every domain on the account.
Is this shared hosting or a VPS?
Shared hosting. Each plan is a hosting account with a control panel, not a virtual server. Shared hosting or a VPS: which one do I need? explains the difference.
What about email, backups, data and rules?
Can I use email on my own domain, and will it reach inboxes?
Yes. Email accounts on your own domain with webmail, IMAP and SMTP; outgoing mail is rate-limited to keep spam off the servers. No host can promise that a message lands in the inbox: that depends on how you send and on the records of your domain. The setup is in email hosting on your own domain.
Are backups included?
Yes. Automatic daily backups of files and databases, kept for 7 to 30 days depending on the plan; restore one from the control panel or ask support. Tulle keeps them for 7 days, Chiffon for 14 days and Velvet for 30 days.
What does Velumhold know about me?
We hold only what billing and running your account need: the account number and an email if you add one; every top-up and order (amount, coin, network, transaction ID, date); and per hosting account its plan, term, location, starting point, SSH public key if you gave one, and dates. No record leaves us without an order from a Panamanian court. The full list is in the privacy policy.
What is forbidden on a Velumhold account?
Forbidden: spam or bulk email, phishing, malware or botnet command, DDoS or other attacks, scanning or brute-forcing other people’s systems, carding or fraud, child sexual abuse material, cryptocurrency mining, and any service to sanctioned people or companies. Breaking these rules leads to suspension. Each rule is in the acceptable use policy.
