The records Velumhold keeps to run your hosting account, the logs it does not write, and the single case in which records are handed over.

**Quick answer — What does Velumhold keep about its customers?**

We hold only what billing and running your account need: the account number and an email if you add one; every top-up and order (amount, coin, network, transaction ID, date); and per hosting account its plan, term, location, starting point, SSH public key if you gave one, and dates. No record leaves us without an order from a Panamanian court. Your account holds an email address only when you choose to add one. No identity check takes place.

## 1. Who controls your data

Velumhold is operated by DomaineGoat LLC, a company incorporated in Panama, which decides how the data on this page is used. It is also the seller in the [terms of service](https://velumhold.com/terms/ "Terms of Service"). Send privacy questions to support@velumhold.com.

## 2. What "no logs" covers

We keep no logs of who you are: no connection records of the dashboard and no IP addresses of customers. The web server keeps the access logs of your own sites in your account, for you, and you can switch them off.

The datacenter that holds each server runs its own network equipment, under the law of its own country. Velumhold does not control that equipment.

## 3. The records we keep

Each record below exists because billing or running a hosting account needs it. The last column shows where it comes from.

| What we hold | Why | Comes from |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Account number | Your login; it links your orders, balance and hosting accounts | Created with the account |
| Email address, only if you add one | A way back in if the account number is lost | Added by you, if you want it |
| Each top-up and order: amount, coin, network, transaction ID (TXID) and date | Matching the payment on the blockchain before crediting it, and billing the term | Your payment and the public blockchain |
| Per hosting account: its plan, term, location, starting point (WordPress or an empty account) and dates | Creating, renewing and billing the account | Your order and the team's work on it |
| SSH public key, if you give one | Put in place so that you can use SSH and SFTP | Pasted by you at checkout |

## 4. What we never ask for

- No KYC, at signup or at any later point: no ID, no selfie, no documents, no card, no phone number.
- Card or bank details: we take crypto and nothing else, so there is nothing of that kind to ask.
- Nobody from our team will ever ask for your account number, your control panel password or your private SSH key, by email or in a chat.

## 5. Crypto payments and public blockchains

A payment in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL or LTC is public by design: its amount, its time and the addresses on both sides sit on a blockchain anyone can read. A top-up's transaction ID therefore links it to the past activity of the wallet that sent it. Monero is the exception: a public explorer shows neither the sender nor the amount of a Monero payment. We keep the same billing record for it as for any top-up, so your account stays linked to its orders, the server IPs of its hosting accounts and the transaction ID you declared. Each incoming payment whose sending address shows on its blockchain is checked against public sanctions lists of blockchain addresses, and a payment from a listed address is never credited. A Monero payment keeps its sending address out of view, so this list check cannot cover it. No bank and no card network stands between you and us when you pay. Each step is shown in [how to pay for web hosting with Bitcoin](https://velumhold.com/web-hosting-with-bitcoin/ "How do I pay for web hosting with Bitcoin?").

## 6. The optional email address

An email address is never needed to open or to use an account. Keep your account number somewhere safe: whoever holds it holds the account. With an email on file the number can be recovered; with no email, a lost number stays lost. When you write to support, your address and your message reach us so that we can reply.

## 7. Your own websites

The access logs of your own sites stay in your account, for you, as section 2 says. If your sites collect personal data from their visitors, you decide how that data is used and you answer for it.

## 8. How records are used and who receives them

The records above exist because billing and running your account need them. A record is released to someone else only under a Panamanian court order. DMCA notices and other foreign copyright notices get no response from us; we answer only to Panamanian law and to the orders of Panamanian courts.

## 9. How long files are kept

You prepay each hosting account from a crypto balance for a term of 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months, chosen at checkout. With auto-renew, the same term is charged again at your original price, unless you pick another term for the next renewal in the dashboard; if the balance cannot cover it, the sites stop when the term ends, the files are kept for 7 days and then deleted.

## 10. Your choices

No email address is needed to use Velumhold. To ask about your account's data, email support@velumhold.com and name the domain of the hosting account; leave the account number out.

## 11. Security

The account number is the key to your account, so a password manager is the right place for it. Your private SSH key belongs on your own device, and nobody at Velumhold needs it. The page on [web hosting without KYC](https://velumhold.com/web-hosting-without-kyc/ "Can I get web hosting without ID verification?") lists what an order does and does not require.

## 12. Age

Nobody under 18 can hold an account.

## 13. Changes and contact

This policy is dated 2 November 2026. It may change, and the version in force is always the one dated at the top of this page. Privacy questions go to support@velumhold.com.
